Michael L. Ellis, CFP®, CRPC® - Mike Ellis is the president and owner of Madden Advisory Services, Inc. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠. Michael builds strong relationships with his clients to develop and implement plans and solutions that help them achieve their personal and financial goals. Whether clients want to start or build a business, prepare for retirement, fund their children's or grandchildren's education, or build a legacy for heirs or charities, Michael focuses on every detail, from tax planning to risk management and income planning to charitable giving.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Clemson University and served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan. Before joining Madden Advisory, he worked at Merrill Lynch as an advisor, specializing in comprehensive investment and retirement plans for small businesses and individuals.

In addition to his financial planning work, Michael co-hosts the weekly talk radio show, "SMART MONEY," which airs on 104.5 FM - WOKV every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The show is the longest-running financial talk show in Florida and started airing with Hank Madden in 1982. Michael began co-hosting with Hank in the summer of 2019 and continues hosting in his stead.

Michael is a member of the Florida chapter of the Financial Planning Association and is involved in his church, Creekside Christian Church. He is married with three children and enjoys spending time outdoors.
